The Liverpool Echo speculates Everton are “weighing up a move” for Southampton midfielder Mario Lemina.


The local read claims the Gabon international is viewed as a potential replacement for Idrissa Gana Gueye, who completed his transfer to Paris St Germain on Tuesday.

Lemina has made 52 appearances for Southampton since signing from Juventus in 2017.

A current Juventus player is linked with Everton in the Daily Star, with the paper continuing to suggest the Toffees are interested in signing striker Moise Kean.


The paper believes the 19-year-old Italy international is valued at around £36million by the Serie A champions.

Turkish media outlet Fanatik, meanwhile, claims Galatasaray are set to make a transfer offer for Everton attacker Henry Onyekuru.


The Nigerian spent last season on loan with the Istanbul side and scored 14 goals in 31 league appearances.
