The Daily Mail is one of several publications to report on Everton’s capture of two-times Premier League winner Fabian Delph from Manchester City.

Quotes from the midfielder’s evertontv interview in Switzerland feature across Tuesday’s newspapers, the Mail leading on Delph pointing to the Club’s fanbase as a significant factor in his decision to join.

“Every time I have played against Everton, whether it was home or away, straight away the first thing that comes to mind when you see the fans is passion,” said Delph.

The Daily Star says Marco Silva is keen on a move for Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic. Croatia international Mandzukic has been in Turin for four years following time with Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich, where he won the 2013 Champions League.

The Star also speculates on the future of Kurt Zouma. Centre-back Zouma is with Chelsea on the Londoners' pre-season tour of Japan and it is suggested Everton will have to bide their time before discovering if the player's club will allow their defender to complete a permanent switch to Goodison. Zouma played 36 matches on loan at Everton last season.

Kicker magazine in Germany claims RB Leipzig will increase their bid for Everton attacker Ademola Lookman but still fall short of the Blues’ £25million asking price.

Two more players are linked with a Goodison exit; James McCarthy and Yannick Bolaise said to be on the radar of prospective new Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce.

Goalkeeper Jonas Lossl tells the Liverpool Echo he has been set the challenge of pushing Jordan Pickford for Everton’s number one jersey by manager Silva and Director of Football Marcel Brands.
