Garbutt Completes Ipswich Loan Move

Everton defender Luke Garbutt has completed a loan move to Ipswich Town and will stay at Portman Road for the 2019-20 campaign.

Left-back Garbutt joins Ipswich after spending last season on similar terms with fellow League One club Oxford United.

He made 36 appearances and scored four goals for Oxford and previously had temporary spells with Cheltenham Town, Colchester United, Fulham and Wigan Athletic.

Garbutt joined Everton from Leeds United as a 16-year-old in summer 2009. He made his first-team debut in a League Cup victory over Leyton Orient in August 2012 and has played 12 times for the Club.

Ipswich, managed by Paul Lambert, will be bidding to return to the Championship at the first time of asking following relegation last season.
