Ademola Lookman will undergo a scan on Monday afternoon after the forward sustained an ankle knock in Everton’s pre-season friendly match with Kariobangi Sharks.

Lookman was withdrawn 15 minutes into Everton’s SportPesa Trophy fixture in Kenyan capital Nairobi.

The 21-year-old, signed from Charlton Athletic in January 2017, featured 21 times in the Premier League under manager Marco Silva last season.

He made way for Welsh attacker Nathan Broadhead in Sunday’s opening friendly encounter and Everton’s medical department will now assess the extent of Lookman’s injury.
