Four Everton Games Chosen For Live TV Coverage

Four of Everton’s Premier League fixtures in the opening two months of the 2019-20 season have been rearranged for live television coverage.

The Blues’ December trip to Manchester United will also be shifted due to the hosts’ Europa League commitments.

Everton’s away match against newly-promoted Aston Villa, originally scheduled for 3pm on Saturday 24 August, will now kick off at 8pm on Friday 23 August and be screened live on Sky Sports.

The same channel will show Everton’s home encounter with Wolverhampton Wanderers, that game now getting under way at 2pm on Sunday 1 September, after initially being pencilled in for Saturday 31 August at 3pm.

Everton’s visit to Bournemouth a fortnight later is also pushed back a day. The fixture at Vitality Stadium, which will be aired on Sky Sports, moves from its original time of 3pm on Saturday 14 September to Sunday 15 September at 2pm.

Champions Manchester City’s game at Goodison Park is moved to 4.30pm on Sunday 29 September – from its previous Saturday 28 September 3pm slot – on condition City do not have a Champions League fixture the following Tuesday.

If Pep Guardiola’s side is in European action on that day, then Everton will tackle City at 5.30pm on Saturday 28 September. The fixture will be shown on Sky Sports, regardless of when it is played.

A date for Everton’s Old Trafford meeting with Manchester United will be confirmed when December’s broadcast selections are announced.

The match will definitely move from its original Saturday 14 December time, however, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side in Europa League group action on the preceding Thursday.

Ticket details for all the fixtures will be announced on evertonfc.com in due course.
