Everton Ladies have completed the signing of Scotland international midfielder Lucy Graham from Bristol City.
Graham has agreed a two-year deal and comes to Everton after scoring 12 goals in her one season in the West Country.
The 22-year-old was twice a Scottish Cup winner with Hibernian, where she worked with Everton boss Willie Kirk, after re-joining the Edinburgh team in January 2016 following six months in Sweden with Mallbackens. She scored four goals in Hibs’ 2017-18 Champions League campaign.
Graham, who has also represented her country at Under-17 and Under-19 level, started her career as a youth player with Dunfermline and then Forfar Farmington in 2012.
The player was prised away for a first stint with Hibs by Kirk after helping Forfar reach the Scottish Cup final and claim runners-up spot in Scotland’s top-flight – an effort which earned Graham a nomination for the Scottish Women’s Football Players’ Player of the Year award in her debut senior campaign.
Can’t wait to work with @JustLuc_ again. Having helped her develop at @HibsLadies and then watching her flourish down south with @bristolcitywfc, she became one of our top targets of the summer.
