Everton Ladies will kick off their 2019-20 Barclays FA WSL campaign with an away clash at Birmingham City.

Willie Kirk’s team will face the Midlands outfit at their Damson Park ground on the weekend of 7 September. The exact date and kick-off time will be announced in due course. 

The remainder of the fixtures for the season will be revealed on 10 July.

The opening-day contest could see a familiar face in the opposition line-up, with former Everton striker Claudia Walker among the ranks at Birmingham. 

Walker enjoyed a four-year stint with the Blue Girls before joining Birmingham last month following a successful loan spell in 2018-19. 

Everton finished 10th in the WSL last season, with Birmingham ending the campaign in fourth place.
