Tuesday’s Daily Star claims Everton manager Marco Silva is keen to bring defender Kurt Zouma back to the Club on a permanent long-term deal.

France international Zouma, 24, made 36 appearances while on loan at Goodison Park last season, establishing himself as a key member of Silva’s side.

And despite Chelsea being banned from making signings in the next two transfer windows, the Star believes Everton remain keen to test the Londoners’ resolve.

Elsewhere, the Liverpool Echo points to quotes in France Football magazine from Blues forward Richarlison, who says his relationship with Silva is “like that of a father with his son”.

The 22-year-old, who played under Silva at Watford before rejoining him at Goodison, also credits the Portuguese for helping him “grow and evolve” since first moving to England in summer 2017.

Finally, Everton Under-23s midfielder Alex Denny tells the Echo about his eagerness to impress boss David Unsworth this season after an injury-hit 2018-19 campaign.
