Mina Helps Colombia To Continue Perfect Start

Yerry Mina steered Colombia to a second straight victory in the Copa America as an 86th-minute winner from Duván Zapata sealed a 1-0 success against Qatar in São Paulo.

The Everton defender played the full match, with Colombia keeping another clean sheet following their 2-0 triumph over Argentina in their Group B opener last weekend.

Having dominated the contest only to be denied by a string of impressive saves from Qatar keeper Saad Al Sheeb, Carlos Queiroz's men got their reward with four minutes remaining when James Rodriguez's pinpoint cross was turned home by striker Zapata.

The result secured Colombia's passage into the last eight of the Copa America ahead of their final group game against Paraguay in Salvador on Sunday.
