Everton have once again been linked with a summer move for Lyon forward Bertrand Traore.

The Daily Mail reports both the Blues and Liverpool have run the rule over the 23-year-old, who scored 11 goals in 2018-19.

The Liverpool Echo
claims Manchester United have ended their interest in Idrissa Gana Gueye, with the Red Devils believed to be reluctant to pay more than £35m for the Toffees’ joint-players’ player of the season.

The Echo also features a story on Swedish club Ostersunds’ interest in Everton Under-23 striker Bassala Sambou.

Ostersunds Technical director David Webb said: “We have not offered him any contract yet, but we have followed the player carefully and if we can recruit him we think he can do well with us.

“However, we are not the only club that follows him and wants him.”

The potential impacts of Henry Onyekuru and Nikola Vlasic in the Everton side next season are also assessed if the on-loan duo feature in Marco Silva’s plans.

Meanwhile, Seamus Coleman is interviewed in the Irish Independent, the defender vowing Ireland will go to Denmark for their Euro 2020 qualifier later this month with ambition rather than trepidation after the Danes denied them a World Cup finals spot two years ago.
