Jack Rodwell has been named in the England under 16 squad for the Victory Shield decider against Scotland.

Rodwell has skippered the under 16s in their previous two games in the competition - a win over Northern Ireland and a draw with Wales.

Scotland have won both their games so this encounter, on December 8, is decisive.

14-year-old Jose Baxter is on standby for the squad, having come on as a substitute in England's win over Northern Ireland.

England v Scotland takes place at York's KitKit Crescent, kick off is 8.05pm.
