Everton Academy players Cory Sinott and Jack Rodwell have both received international call-ups.

The pair have been included in Kenny Swain's England Under 17s squad that will take part in the Nordic Tournament later this month.

The competition will be played in the Faroe Islands and Blues defenders, Sinott and Rodwell, will hope to figure largely in England's Group B matches against Sweden, Denmark and the host nation - who will be fielding an Under 19s team.

The Three Lions youngsters are in action on 31 July (v Sweden), 1 August (v Faroe Islands) and then 3 August (v Norway)

Finland, Denmark, Iceland and Faroe Islands Under 17s comprise Group A with the winners of each section meeting in the final to decide the outright winner on 5 August.

All games, incidentally, will be played on artificial surfaces.
