Davies 'Couldn't Be Prouder' After Realising Captain Dream

Tom Davies says he "could not be prouder" having fulfilled his boyhood dream of leading out Everton at Goodison Park.

The 20-year-old Academy graduate became the Blues’ youngest ever starting skipper in the 3-1 Carabao Cup victory over Rotherham United last August and has assumed the responsibility once again in recent weeks.

Davies was named captain for last Wednesday's meeting with champions Manchester City before again donning the armband at Watford's Vicarage Road on Saturday.

In an exclusive interview available now to Season Ticket, Lounge and We Are Everton Members, Davies discusses his emotions at leading out his boyhood club at Goodison, the responsibility he feels as a homegrown talent, and why he is comfortable assuming the role of leader despite his tender years.
