Calvert-Lewin Starts For Everton As Boss Silva Makes Five Changes

Dominic Calvert-Lewin returns to play up front for Everton as Marco Silva makes five changes for the Blues' Premier League clash with Cardiff City on Tuesday.

Morgan Schneiderlin is back in midfield, the Frenchman named in Everton's starting XI for a top-flight game for the first time since the Goodison Park meeting with West Ham United back in September.

Manager Silva hands captain Phil Jagielka his first start since the opening day at Wolverhampton Wanderers, the centre-back partnering Michael Keane in the middle of defence, with the suspended Kurt Zouma dropping out of the squad.

Seamus Coleman plays at right-back, with Theo Walcott coming back into the team to operate wide on the right.

Jordan Pickford continues in goal and Lucas Digne makes his 23rd league start at left-back.

Idrissa Gana Gueye is deployed next to Schneiderlin in Everton's engine room.

Richarlison is poised for a role on the left flank, with Gylfi Sigurdsson employed directly behind striker Calvert-Lewin.

Bernard, Ademola Lookman and Cenk Tosun are all on the bench, with Everton's complement of substitutes completed by Yerry Mina, Jonjoe Kenny, Andre Gomes and goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.
