Pienaar &Amp; Jo Start

Steven Pienaar and Jo have been named in David Moyes' starting line-up to face Arsenal.

The Brazilian striker returns to the starting XI after missing last week's friendly against Malaga with an ankle injury.

And Pienaar, who was also a doubt for the opening game of the season after picking up a knee injury on international duty earlier this week, has passed a late fitness test and will start in midfield.

He is joined by Leon Osman, Phil Neville, Marouane Fellaini and Tim Cahill, with Fellaini likely to provide attacking support to lone striker Jo.

Joleon Lescott also starts after Moyes confirmed earlier this week he has no intention of selling the England international. He lines up alongside Tony Hibbert, Leighton Baines and Joseph Yobo at the back.

Frenchman Louis Saha will start the game on the bench, where he is joined by youngsters James Vaughan, Dan Gosling, Jack Rodwell, Shane Duffy and Jose Baxter. Goalkeeper Carlo Nash completes the substitutes.
