Shane Duffy has extended his loan spell with League One Scunthorpe United until January 8.
 
Duffy has made 14 appearances for the Iron, who currently sit just two points and two places outside the relegation zone.
 
The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international has scored once for Alan Knill's side to date, netting in the 4-2 win over Tranmere Rovers last month.
 
The defender joins teammates James Wallace, Jose Baxter and Luke Garbutt in extending their repsective loan deals into the new year.

Baxter has been getting regular games at Tranmere, Wallace is with Shrewsbury Town and Garbutt has helped Cheltenham Town's surge up the League Two table.
