Mirallas Setback

Everton forward Kevin Mirallas had to be stretchered off in the 223rd Merseyside derby.

The Belgian forward pulled up holding his hamstring midway through the opening half of the game at Anfield.

After extensive treatment at the side of the pitch, the forward had to be withdrawn on a stretcher and was replaced by Irish international Aiden McGeady.

"It seems bad," said Blues boss Roberto Martinez afterwards. "It's a hamstring. We're going to assess him in the next 24 hours.

"Kevin has been in great form and we've got a lot of games coming up. It's very unfortunate for us."
