Everton Under-21s recorded a 2-0 away victory over Tottenham Hotspur to continue their perfect start under new Head Coach Paul Tait.

The young Blues took the lead inside the opening three minutes at Stevenage’s Lamex Stadium, when, after a sweeping attacking move, Isaac Price’s cross was turned in by Spurs defender Marqes Muir for an own goal.

Everton's lead was extended just after the half-hour mark and it came from the penalty spot.

Forward Tom Cannon was the scorer, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way to notch his second goal in as many games.

Next up for the Under-21s is a home clash with Manchester United on Friday 19 August (7pm BST), a match that will be broadcast live for FREE on our official YouTube channel.
