Coby Ebere continued his excellent scoring run with a late strike to earn a 1-0 home win over Nottingham Forest at Finch Farm.
Young forward Ebere built on his hat-trick in a 4-1 win over Stoke City last weekend with an 84th-minute winner here to ensure back-to-back Under-18 Premier League wins for Leighton Baines' side.
Everton started on the front foot and created an an early chance when Odin Samuels-Smith whipped in a cross with two minutes on the clock, but Forest goalkeeper Keehan Willows rose highest to claim it.
The Toffees continued on the front foot and Willows was called into action again when Jacob Beaumont-Clark tried an audacious shot from long range which the young goalkeeper was equal to.
The visitors started the second half in lively fashion but Blues goalkeeper George Pickford displayed impressive composure to deny Danny Anisjko after bright work by Henry Lister on the left flank.
The telling blow came six minutes from time, as Ebere applied the finishing touch to an excellent team move that began with goalkeeper Pickford.
Next up for the Under-18s is the visit of Middlesbrough on Saturday 10 February (12.30pm GMT).
