When will fans be allowed to return to matches at Goodison Park?

There is currently no set date. We will follow government guidelines which will dictate when live sport can resume with fans in attendance. Everton remain committed to protecting supporters and the NHS. Football will not resume at Goodison Park with fans in attendance until the government advises it is safe to do so.

Will I be entitled to a refund for games that I am unable to attend due to the current restrictions?

Yes. Fans will receive a pro-rata refund for every Premier League fixture they are unable to attend. These refunds will be processed in three instalments throughout the campaign – in November 2020, February 2021 and June 2021. For FAQs relating directly to the refunds process, click here.

What games will be included in the refund instalments?

Refunds issued in November will include all league fixtures Season Ticket Members have not attended up to 31 October (West Bromwich Albion, Brighton & Hove Albion, Liverpool). February’s refund will cover Premier League matches after 1 November and up to 31 January (Manchester United, Leeds United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City, West Ham United, Leicester City, Newcastle United*), while June’s deadline will see a refund issued for any top-flight games missed between 1 February and the scheduled end of the Premier League season in May (Fulham, Southampton, Burnley, Crystal Palace, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, Sheffield United, Wolverhampton Wanderers*).

*All fixtures still subject to change.

How much will I be due as a refund?

You will be refunded 1/19th of your season ticket price for each game you are unable to attend. This can vary depending on the price band and area of the stadium that your season ticket is for. A breakdown of the per game refund amounts can be found here.

How will I be refunded?

For FAQs relating directly to the refunds process, click here.

How can Hospitality Members claim their refunds?

2019/20 Hospitality Members will be contacted directly by a member of the Hospitality team to advise of the process and options available to them.

How can I update my contact information?

You can update your personal details and contact information by clicking here.

It is important this information is up to date, as it will enable the Club to fulfil the requirements of the Government’s Track and Trace system when fans are permitted into stadiums once again. It will also ensure the ballot process and distribution of tickets runs smoothly.

How can I find out more information about ballots for when fans can return to Goodison Park?

The Club has been working with all relevant authorities, as well as fan groups, to ensure a robust plan is in place when fans are allowed into Goodison Park once again. A fair and transparent ballot process will be introduced to allocate tickets on a match-by-match basis. This ballot will only be open to Season Ticket Members and Hospitality Lounge Members and family and friend groups will not be split up.

The capacity reduction at Goodison will be determined based on Government and Premier League guidelines and the Sports Ground Safety Authority - in liaison with the Club’s Operations and Risk teams. The Club’s objective is to enable as many fans as possible to attend games, whilst prioritising the health and safety of fans and match day staff.

More information on the ballot process will be provided when there is additional clarity on the phased return of fans to stadiums.

What happens if I do not wish to enter the ticket ballot?

If you do not wish to be included in the ballot to return to games then you can simply not apply for the process.

If I opt out of all ballots does this affect my Season Ticket status?

If you do not apply for any of the ballots throughout the season, your status as a Season Ticket Member will not be affected. You will receive a refund for every game that you are unable to attend; and would be eligible to renew your Season Ticket for the 2021/22 season when the renewal window opens.
