FAQS - Season Ticket Waiting List

How will my position on the Season Ticket waiting list be determined?
Your position on the waiting list will be determined by two factors. Firstly, the number of seasons you have held an Official Membership since the waiting list was introduced in 2018/19 (a maximum of six), and then by the date you joined the official waiting list.

Can I see my exact position on the waiting list?
No, however Official Members will be able to see the band they are currently in. As supporters may purchase an Official Membership at any point in the season, it is possible that the exact position you are in could change. For example, if you have four Official Memberships registered to your supporter number and purchase a fifth in July, you may provisionally move up the waiting list. However, other supporters with four Official Memberships who were previously above you in the waiting list will reclaim their position at the point they purchase their fifth Membership, even if this is later in the season. This is to ensure the process is fair to all Official Members on the list - that their position is determined by the number of Memberships they have held and that they are not penalised by the date those Memberships were purchased in the relevant season. We recognise that Official Members want to know when they may be eligible to purchase a Season Ticket and our bands aim to give supporters a clearer indication of where they are in the queue.

What are the possible bands that I could be in?
Bands will initially be shown in increments of 500 from 1-10,000, with several broader bands from 10,001 onwards (i.e. the band for those at the very top of the waiting list would be 1-500, the second highest band would be 501-1000 and so on, whereas the bands from 10,000 may be 10,001-12,000 for example). Please note, final bands are to be confirmed and may change in size as the number of supporters on Tier 1 of the waiting list changes. Your band is determined by how many seasons you have held an Official Membership since 2018/19 (a maximum of six), then by when you joined the waiting list. See ‘Can I see my exact position on the waiting list?’ for more.

When will I be able to see my band?
Every supporter on the waiting list will be able to see details of their band from May 2024.

How do I check which band of the waiting list I am in?
Supporters will be able to check their band by entering their details on a form that will become available from May 2024. By doing this, they will be presented with their band, as well as their Membership history and joining date. Supporters on the waiting list can currently see whether they are in Tier 1 or Tier 2 of the waiting list only. To see your current Tier, click here.

I believe my Official Membership data is incorrect. What can I do?
There is an option on the waiting list form here to raise a case with the Club if you believe that any part of your waiting list application is incorrect. If this is the case, you should inform us by 11.59pm on Sunday 7 April 2024. When notifying the Club, it is important to provide as much detail as possible so your case can be investigated thoroughly with a view to updating your application if such action is required. Please note, we may need time to investigate your case but we will aim to respond to all enquiries as quickly as possible.

I have had more than six Official Memberships during my lifetime. Why are only six showing on my record?
For the purposes of the Season Ticket waiting list, we are only considering Memberships held from when the waiting list began in 2018/19. Six Memberships is the maximum number any supporter on the waiting list can have and any prior Memberships will not influence their position.

I have purchased Memberships for myself on more than one supporter number/ticketing account since 2018/19. Can my Memberships from one account be added to another to move me up the waiting list?
There is an option on the official waiting list form here to raise a case with the Club if you have held Memberships across multiple supporter numbers or ticketing accounts or believe that any part of your waiting list application is incorrect. Proving details of Official Memberships on previous or dormant ticketing accounts will help us to update your account details and waiting list application to reflect all the Memberships you have purchased.

I purchased an Official Membership for me and one for my child on the same day, but they are both under my name. Can the records be amended so we are together on the waiting list?
We are offering supporters the opportunity to update their records. To register the Memberships against your child’s supporter number, please complete the form here, providing as much information as possible.

I purchased a Membership for me and one for my child on different dates but they are both under my name. Can the records be amended so we are together on the waiting list?
As long as both Memberships were purchased in the same season – and the same total number of Memberships have been purchased for each supporter (parent and child) since the Season Ticket waiting list was opened - the different purchase date will not affect your position on the waiting list. To amend records to register the Memberships against your child’s supporter number, please complete the form here, providing as much information as possible.

Why does it say I am in Tier 2 when I have purchased a 2023/24 Official Membership? Should I be in Tier 1?
Current Official Members are in Tier 1. If you believe you have a current Official Membership but you are showing as being in Tier 2, please contact us here. Please note, if you have recently purchased a Membership, it may take up to three hours for your waiting list application to reflect this.

I have a season missing because Memberships were not sold during the first Covid-19 lockdown in 2020. Will that affect my position on the waiting list?
Official Memberships for the 2019/20 season were taken off sale in March 2020, having initially gone on sale in July 2019. The  majority of supporters would have purchased Memberships earlier in the season and, therefore, we are counting 2019/20 Memberships towards waiting list eligibility.

Fixtures were played behind closed doors in the 2020/21 season and I did not buy an Official Membership. Is this season discounted from the eligibility criteria?
No. More than 13,000 Official Memberships were sold during the 2020/21 season. As such, it would be unfair to exclude this season from the records and Official Memberships purchased in 2020/21 will count towards eligibility criteria for the Season Ticket waiting list.

I thought buying an Official Membership automatically put you on the waiting list. Can my position on the waiting list be amended to reflect the day I first purchased an Official Membership?
The Season Ticket waiting list process and waiting list FAQs were communicated when the waiting list launched in 2018/19. We are not allowing supporters to retrospectively join the waiting list at the date they first purchased a Membership as it would be unfair to supporters already on the waiting list.

I joined the waiting list before the 2018/19 season. Where am I on the list?
Prior to the 2018/19 season, the Club operated a ‘Register Your Interest’ option for Season Tickets. Once we moved to a waiting list during 2018/19, this change was communicated to all supporters who had previously registered their interest in a Season Ticket. Supporters were advised that they needed to join the newly-established waiting list to be considered for future seasons. As such, you will have needed to have joined the waiting list since 2018/19 to be included.

I am on the waiting list and have been offered a Season Ticket but cannot attend next season. If I refuse it, will I remain at the top of the list?
Should you be offered a Season Ticket but are unable to purchase for the coming season for any reason, you will retain your position on the waiting list, provided you remain an Official Member.

If I am offered a Season Ticket, can I choose my seat to sit by my friend/family member?
It may be possible for your friend/family member to request to move seat to sit by you. However, requests to move seats will be prioritised by date of application via the form here (subject to the relevant Season Ticket being renewed at the time of submission) and the availability within the preferred stand. For 2024/25, seat transfer requests must be made before Friday 26 April 2024.

I want to remove myself or a family member from the Season Ticket waiting list. How do I do this?
To remove a name from the Season Ticket waiting list, please call the Fan Centre on 0151 556 1878 (Mon-Fri, 10am-4pm) or contact us via the form here.

I want to transfer my place on the waiting list to somebody else. Can I do this?
Positions on the waiting list cannot be transferred to another person. Should you wish to remove yourself from the Season Ticket Waiting List, please call the Fan Centre on 0151 556 1878 (Mon-Fri, 10am-4pm) or contact us via the form here.

I am a disabled supporter. Does my eligibility differ due to my accessibility requirements?
Supporters with accessibility requirements should follow the same process to join the waiting list and purchase Official Membership to retain their position on the list. When joining the waiting list, you can state if you have any accessibility requirements. Should you then be successful in being offered a Season Ticket, a member of our Accessibility Team will make contact to discuss your specific requirements and offer suitable suggestions based on those needs.  If you need to update your information, you can tell us via the form here prior to 7 April 2024 or contact the Fan Centre thereafter.

How do I put my name on the waiting list?
If you wish to add your name to the waiting list, you can do so here.

How do I register my child on the waiting list if they are under 13 and cannot have an account?
To register an account for a child under the age of 13, please contact the Fan Centre either by calling 0151 556 1878 (Mon-Fri, 10am-4pm) or by visiting the Goodison Road ticket office. Once you have an account for your child, you will be able to add them to the waiting list.
