Everton Football Club are one of 12 clubs working with the Homeless FA to support the most vulnerable members of society as well as challenging and changing negative public perceptions of people experiencing homelessness.

The Training Centre has incorporated a schedule of incentivised learning for people who have experienced, or are currently experiencing, homelessness as well as delivering a Sports Leadership qualification to each participating player. Participants are supported by Everton in the Community staff who work with Homeless FA mentors, many of which are people that have been through a Training Centre previously and now have adopted roles within the HFA to support current players.

June 2015 saw the first group of cohorts enjoy a presentation at Goodison Park for completing the course, as Club ambassador Graham Stuart and Liverpool Cllr Ann O'Byrne handed out the certificates.
