Everton in the Community’s Pathway programme aims to support individuals who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) or who are at risk of being NEET.

The programme offers a structured course to those aged 16-25 where learners can gain qualifications whilst developing key personal and social skills, ultimately making them more confident to succeed in their chosen pathway.

The course recognises that its participants can be diverse and varied in their interests. That's why the course offers separate pathways in Construction, Customer Service and Hospitality, and in Sport. Programme co-ordinators will also work closely with high schools and students who are at risk of being 'NEET' and offer a tailored and bespoke packages designed for students to enhance their knowledge and experience whilst being inspired to take up their chosen pathway.

The Pathways programme offers various pathways to education, employment and training through focused programmes that enable individuals to achieve their full potential.

Since September 2019, we have engaged over 50 young people on our pathways programmes. Of those 8 Young People that have completed programmes, 6 have progressed onto further education or employment through Sports Leadership, Health and Safety and CSCS qualifications, with a further 2 being signposted onto Apprenticeships.
