Carling/ Everton FC Scratch Card Promotion 2018 – Full Terms and Conditions

 

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry/ claim instructions are deemed to form part of these Terms and Conditions. All entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

  

  1. This promotion is open to residents of Great Britain (England, Scotland, Wales) only aged 18 years or over. Proof of age and residence may be required.
  2.  The promotion excludes employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter (as later defined) and Everton Football Club (“EFC”), and anyone professionally connected to the promotion.
  3. The promotional period opens on 05.12.18 and closes when all scratch cards have been given away or 31.05.19 (whichever is the earlier) (the “Promotional Period”).
  4. Internet access may be required depending upon the nature of the prize. See paragraph 10 for further details.
  5. To enter this promotion, entrants must, purchase one (1) pint of draught Carling from any draught Carling serving kiosk at EFC’s football stadium (Goodison Park) within 1 hour of kick-off at a home game to receive a scratch card from the kiosk. Entrants must scratch the scratch card to reveal instantly if a prize has been won.
  6. PET bottle purchases are not included.
  7. Maximum of one (1) entry per person per day is permitted during the Promotional Period.
  8. Two hundred and forty (242) prizes available.
  9. Prizes: The prizes available are:
  • 88 x free pints of Carling. Each prize consists of 1 (one) free pint of draught Carling to be consumed at Goodison Park.
  • 150 x duel branded EFC/Carling polo shirts. Each prize consists of 1 (one) duel branded EFC /Carling polo shirt. Winner cannot choose the size of the shirt. -Shirts will be size large.  
  • 2 x signed EFC home shirts. Each prize consists of 1 (one) EFC home shirt signed by first team squad members. Winner cannot choose the size of the shirt. -Shirts will be size large.
    • 1x Carling branded table football (1 to be won).  
    • 1x EFC hospitality package consisting of:
      • one set of 4 (four) home match tickets to Everton v’s Wolves on 02/02/2019. Kick-off time subject to change. The fixture cannot be changed; 
      • a glass of champagne served on arrival at 12:00;
      • a three-course pre-match set meal (yet to be set) served in the 1879 Suite;
      •  half time refreshments served in the 1879 suite;
      • executive Main Stand seating;
      • official match programme;
      • and complimentary post-match bar available for a maximum of 1 hour after the final whistle.

 

Smart casual dress code. Training shoes and football shirts are not permitted to be worn inside the hospitality suite. Smoking is not permitted anywhere at Goodison Park stadium. Under no circumstances will ticketholders be permitted to leave the Club’s stadium on a match day in order to smoke with the view to being re-admitted. The Club operates a strict no re-admittance policy. Tickets will be delivered to addresses in the UK by recorded delivery service.  Tickets will be sent to arrive at least 2 (two) days before the match fixture. Tickets may be made available for collection at Goodison Park if the tickets are unable to arrive by post before the match takes place. If you are required to collect your ticket at Goodison Park, you will be notified of any specific collection arrangements. The prize may be passed on to friends or relatives once you have received your physical tickets. You will still be held responsible to the fullest extent permitted by law for any actions involving the use of the tickets by the transferee. Tickets cannot be sold or exchanged for cash. The terms and conditions apply equally to transferees as though they were the original prize winner. Entry to Goodison Park is subject to normal conditions of ticket entry. All tickets are “home” tickets and you must be a home or neutral supporter to attend the match. Winners are subject to screening by EFC based on their conditions of entry and Promoter is not liable if the winner or any person accompanying the winner is refused entry because the winner does not meet these conditions. Each ticket is issued by EFC subject to the terms and conditions of entry, which are available from EFC and will be provided to the winner with the prize. The use of a ticket to enter Goodison Park constitutes acceptance of EFC’s terms and conditions of entry. The ticket shall remain at all times the property of EFC. Except mobile phones used for personal and private use only, the winner and the winner’s guests may not bring into (or use within) Goodison Park any equipment that is capable of recording or transmitting any audio, visual or audio-visual material or any information or data in relation to a match or any aspect of it. EFC reserves the right to eject from a stadium any person who fails to comply with applicable terms or conditions of entry. If entrants are the subject of a current Banning Order under the Football Spectators Act 1989 (as amended), entrants will be refused entry to the promotion and to Goodison Park. If the ticket is obtained or used in breach of the terms or conditions of entry, it will be automatically void. The bearer will be refused entry and, if already in the stadium, will be ejected, in either case without refund. Other than friends and family as stated above, winner may not transfer the prize to anyone. The unauthorised sale or disposal of tickets is a criminal offence under section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994, as amended by the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006. If your tickets have not arrived within 5 (five) days before your allocated fixture email Amy.judge@evertonfc.com.

 

  1.  Prize Redemption:
  • Pints and polo shirts: entrants must, give their winning scratch card to participating kiosks at Goodison Park in exchange for the prize. 
  • Signed EFC shirts, the table football and the hospitality package: entrants must, retain their winning scratch card and contact Amy.judge@evertonfc.com with their name, address and a photograph/ scan of their winning scratch card.  Winners will receive their prize within 14 days of redeeming their scratch card. Prizes will be posted to the winner based on the information provided by the winner when they submit their redemption.
  1. Prizes must be claimed and redeemed in accordance with paragraph 10 within 7 (seven) days of win.
  2. Winners may be asked to provide details such as their name, telephone number, email address, delivery address etc.  dependent upon the nature of the prize. 
  3. The decision of the Promoter or the staff at EFC in all matters relating to this promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  4. The Prize is the item stated only. The Prizes (in whole or in part) and the scratch cards are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and non- refundable. No cash or alternative prize will be offered in whole or in part, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter, the prize will only be awarded directly to the winner.
  5. The Promoter and EFC reserves the right to amend, alter or cancel the promotion without prior notice if necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
  6. The Promoter and EFC is not liable for delayed or non-delivery of prizes for any reason beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to loss or theft in transit or any failure by the winner to accept delivery of a prize for any reason.
  7. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are misdirected, lost, delayed, damaged or corrupted during delivery to or from the Promoter due to any reason whatsoever.
  8. The Promoter or EFC reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or third party if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these Terms and Conditions or is responsible for, or associated with cheating, deception or fraudulent conduct. Entry instructions form part of these Terms and Conditions. Failure by the Promoter or EFC to enforce any of their rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
  9. Prize winner and any applicable guests may be required to participate in unpaid publicity as required by the Promoter.
  10. The Promoter will collect personal information from entrants for the purposes of administering this promotion. For further details please see the Promoter’s privacy policy.  
  11. With the exception of death or personal injury arising out of the Promoter’s negligence or the negligence of its associated companies, its agents, its employees, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, all liability whatsoever on the part of the Promoter or its associated companies, its agents, its employees for any costs, expenses, losses, damages, liabilities, injury or disappointment including any loss of profits, business, contracts, revenues or anticipated savings and whether special, direct, indirect, consequential, suffered by the entrant howsoever arising in connection with the promotion are excluded.
  12. These Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter, existence, negotiation, validity, termination or enforceability (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
