An Evertonian from a very young age, John is a Chartered Accountant (FCA - Price Waterhouse) with a consistent track record of recovering and developing companies, as well as initiating and delivering complex transactions and creative fundraising in diverse and difficult situations.
He spent more than 20 years in the Canadian upstream oil and gas industry and a further 20 years in the then fast developing, recently deregulated, UK downstream energy supply and infrastructure industries, latterly as a CEO.
During that time, John attracted internationally recognised financial partners in the building of those companies. He has previously sat on a Board alongside Mr Moshiri.
