The Everton International Academy Affiliate Programme allows select football clubs around the world access to year-round support from a world-renowned football organisation.
The primary focus of the programme is player development, using the same curriculum that is adopted by Everton Academy at USM Finch Farm.
Historically, the Club has been at the forefront of developing young footballing talent including Wayne Rooney and, more recently, current first-team player Tom Davies.
In addition, the programme is able to focus on coach development and club development.
Depending on our Academy Partner's objectives, the programme can be tailored to fulfil objectives. As part of the programme, opportunities may include:
- Coaching Material
- Coaching Support
- Academy Development
- Talent ID
- Visits to USM Finch Farm
- Visits to affiliate club
- Business & Marketing support
The programme allows football institutions and academies around the globe to receive support from Everton coaches in developing footballers of all ages. The partnership also gives these academies guidance on both sporting and business best practices to improve their sustainability and aid growth.
"The Joondalup City Junior NPL trials for the 2020 season have been a huge success. Close on 300 players registered for our trials, an increase of 47% on last season’s registrations. This has resulted in us having very strong squads for our Junior NPL teams."
"The Everton factor has been huge, with lots of parents very interested in the programme, and being keen to potentially offer their child a pathway to the highest level of football."
- David Clayton, Director of Coaching, Joondalup City Football Club.
The programme is available to grassroots teams, professional sides, youth academies, girls’ and women’s teams, as well as colleges and universities.
