Final Brick Facades Ready At Everton Stadium

The final brick facades are ready to be lifted into place to complete the external appearance of Everton Stadium.

Scaffolding that provided a loading deck and hoist has been removed at the northern end of the east stand, allowing for the last of the 731 panels to be lifted into place, 18 months since the first panel was secured in the north west core, in November 2022.

The panels are arranged so they display elements of the historic Goodison Park latticework pioneered by the famous Scottish stadium architect, Archibald Leitch.

Elsewhere, the blue Kellen blocks are forming the 'rippling water' pattern within the existing, exposed dock walls in the Fan Plaza, as can be seen in the latest video update below or here.

Barrel cladding continues to spread from the south east corner, and in the northern corner of the west stand, where specially-shaped perforated edge pieces complement the design.

Within the bowl, the first padded seats have been installed for Dock on 1 members, within the west stand.

In total, more than 40,000 seats are now in place across the 52,888-capacity stadium.
