Gordon West. He's a long lost mate of mine.I went to school with his son. He set the standards for other Everton goalies and he remains a true Blue.Can't say enough good words about him. I made him late for training once and he got a dressing down from Harry Catterick - I doubt if he told Harry that the reason he was late was that he was talking about Everton to a six year old kid in the corner shop in Maghull.He gave me my only footballing medal , when I was playing for a Maghull Scouts team. Gordon's a Goodison Giant for sure.
