Neville Southall. Big Nev what a goal keeper he was for EVERTON FOOTBALL CLUB. He was'nt called the worlds best No1 keeper for nothing, the speed he could save a low shot, header or anythink that was coming his way and get back up for the rebounded incoming ball if pushed back into play was unbelieveable only to make another world class save. I used to watch BIG NEV from the Lower GwLadys St stand on my junior Evertonian. In the warm up be4 the kick off some1 would bend down on there hands and knees in the goal on the line, the ball would come be saved on oneside BIG NEV would get back up and dive over the person bent down and save the ball again. For a big guy he got down and back up again really fast and was a good shot stopper to boot. This is why BIG NEVILLE SOUTHALL is my Favourite EVERTON Player of all time.
