Country: United Kingdom
Married with an evertonian son aged 32. Retired, after 35 years as a supervisor on a chemical plant and loving it. Just need the lads to bring home a few trophies again and life will be perfect.
Blackpool 1 - 1 Everton in November 1963. Roy Vernon scored a cracking equaliser. All the talk from the Blackpool fans was about a young kid called Alan Ball who had just broken into their first team.
Favourite Everton Moment
Final whistle in 1995 cup final. Man U are my least favorite club by a big margin.
Favourite All Time Player
Brian Labone. A true Evertonian. No amount of money could have dragged Brian away from Everton. Wish there were more like him these days. Once read that if a team of ex Everton captains was assembled, they would all want Labs to be the captain of the captains. That sums up Mr Everton well I think.
Favourite Current Player
Marouane Fellaini. A larger than life character in every sense. Always in the thick of things, and has the skill to make time and space for himself with a great first touch.
David Moyes. It's more difficult than ever to produce a top team without a billoinaire throwing money at the club. David has built this team the old way, and I respect him for it. It shows what a top manager he is.
1995 cup final
Paul Rideout's. No surprise there then.
I know I'm boring, but the 1960's shirts without sponsors.
I am the music man, I can play the Pi - en - aar. That makes me laugh.
