About David

Always been Evertonian and brought up my kids the same. Live the other side of the Pennines and we're the only Blues in the village.......

First Game

Can't remember as I was around 4 or 5 at the time, in the 1970-71 season I think. However, my son's first game, at 4 years old, was 1-0 Vs Sunderland with Jesper Blomqvuist scoring the winner and Gazza in the middle of the park!!

Favourite Everton Moment

Loads of them, but I'd have to say being stood behind the goal against Rapid Vienna when we won the ECWP in 1985 takes some beating. Seeing Sheeds tuck the third goal in was magic and the atmosphere was electric.

Favourite All Time Player

Bob Latchford. I grew up watching Bob, trying to head the ball like him. Never quite managed the technique....

Favourite Current Player

Tim Cahill. The Blue Kangeroo, need I say more........

Favourite Manager

Howard Kendall. Trophies, trophies and trophies won by a true blue.

Favourite Game

Everton 1 ManU 0 2005. My 40th birthday and my son's first evening game. We travel 250 miles to GP and that night, he knew exactly what it means to be a Blue

Favourite Goal

1984, at Anfield, stood on the Kop when Sharpy rifled in the winner & goal of the season - pure genius.

Favourite Kit

1970's umbro diamonds on the sleeve as worn by Latch, Duncan McKenzie & Andy King

Favourite Chant

He's fat, he's round, he's worth a million pound Peter Reid, Peter Reid. The rest are too blue....
