Manchester United FC play at Old Trafford, which is the biggest club ground in the country. It is easily accessible by road and by rail.
From the North
Approaching on the M61, at Junction 1 continue onto the M602 and keep on this road for 4 miles. At Junction 3 turn right onto Trafford Road and after one mile turn right again into Trafford Park Road. Sir Matt Busby Way and Old Trafford are on the left.
From the South
Take the M6 to Junction 19, turning onto the A556 Stockport Road which becomes the A56 at Altrincham. This becomes the Chester Road. After 9 miles, turn left onto the the A5063 Trafford Road, left onto the A5081 Trafford Park Road and left again into Sir Matt Busby Way. Old Trafford is on the right.
From the West
Approaching on the M62, at Junction 12 continue on the M602, keeping to this road for 4 miles. Then as route for North.
From the East
Get onto the M63 and at Junction 7 turn onto the A556. Then as route for South.
Car Parking
There is a large official car park on Elevator Road, and various smaller car parks nearby.
By Train
Old Trafford station is about 1/2 mile away from the ground.
By Bus
Numbers 252 to 257 and the 17, 114 and 236 all run from Manchester Picadilly.
