From the North:
From the M61, turn right onto the M60 at Jct 1. Turn left onto the
M602 at Jct 12. Follow until the end of motorway and proceed onto
the A57. This becomes the A57(M). At end of motorway proceed on the
A635 following signs for Ashton - Under - Lyne. After 2 miles turn
left onto the A6010 'Alan Turing Way'. The ground is on
your left after 1/2 mile.
From the South:
From the M6, turn off at Jct 19 onto the A556. Turn right onto the
M56 (Jct 8). Join the M60 (anti-clockwise) at Jct 1/4. At Jct 23,
turn left onto the A635 and continue for 3 miles until turning
right onto the A6010 'Alan Turing Way'. The ground is on
your left after 1/2 mile.
From M62:
Leave the M62 at Junction 18 and then join the M60 Ashton Under
Lyne. Then follow directions as above.
By Train
Manchester Piccadilly Station is the key station serving the city
from all over the country and is 20 minutes walk from the City of
Manchester Stadium.
A smaller station, Ashburys is situated to the south on Alan Turing
Way and is 15 minutes walk to the Stadium.
By Bus
There are many bus routes from the city centre and from all
directions north, west, east and south that stop at or close to
Sportcity.
The various bus operators offer good fare rates and the frequency
to the site, particularly from the city centre and
Ashton-under-Lyne is exceptional.
