Stats
Richard Dunne joined Everton as a schoolboy and was a key member of the FA Youth Cup winning side of 1998.

By that stage of his Goodison career, he had already made his senior debut - that coming in 1997 in a 3-0 home win over Swindon Town.

Part of a crop of talented young players that included Tony Hibbert and Leon Osman, the Republic of Ireland international went on to make 72 appearances for the Blues before signing for Manchester City in 2000.

A long and successful career in the top flight included further spells with Aston Villa and QPR.
