Talented attacker Nathan Broadhead scooped Everton's Under-23 Player-of-the-Season prize following the young Blues' double-winning exploits in 2018/19.

A skilful forward, blessed with two good feet, Broadhead netted in the First-Team's 4-0 SportPesa Trophy victory over Kenyan team Gor Mahia in November 2018.

And his personally stellar season was crowned with a summons from manager Ryan Giggs for a Wales training camp in the Algarve.

Broadhead joined League One Burton Albion on loan for the 2019/20 season and impressively transitioned into senior football. He made 22 appearances and scored three goals for Burton before his season was cut short by injury in February 2020.

The attacker returned to Everton to score 11 goals in 18 Premier League 2 games the following season and make a Premier League debut when coming off the bench late in a match at Brighton & Hove Albion deep into the campaign.

After signing a new two-year deal with Everton in June 2021, Broadhead joined Sunderland on loan and played an important role in the Black Cats' promotion to the Championship via the League One play-offs.

Despite missing a portion of the season with injury, Broadhead racked up an impressive tally of 13 goals in 27 matches for Sunderland.

Broadhead became a first-year scholar in June 2014 after joining Everton's Academy at the age of 10.

He was top goalscorer for Kevin Sheedy's Under-18 side and helped the young Blues win the Dallas Cup in 2015/16.

Broadhead, from Bangor, has been capped by Wales at every level from Under-17 to Under-21.

He made his senior Everton debut on 7 December 2017 when coming on as an 82nd-minute substitute in the Blues' 3-0 Europa League group stage win over Apollon Limassol in Cyprus.

Contracted until: June 2024
