Lindsay Johnson joined Everton from Liverpool in 2003.
A tall and pacy centre-half, Lindsay was named Player of the Season in the 2007/08 campaign thanks to a string of commanding performances at the heart of the back four and her solid understanding with Fern Whelan.
Lindsay impressed England manager Hope Powell with her solid defensive performances at the Algarve Cup in 2005, a year after making her England bow against Holland. She has now made over 40 appearances for England, scoring one goal.
Although initially left out of the 2007 World Cup squad, she was called-up as a late replacement for Steph Houghton after she sustained an injury. Lindsay also started four matches at the 2009 European Championships.
Johnson was a part of Everton's 2010 FA Women's Cup winning team and also featured heavily in the Blues 2010/11 Women's Champions League campaign.
Johnson was included in Powell's initial list of 30 players in contention for the 2011 World Cup in Germany, but was not included in the final 21-women squad to travel to the tournament.
So far, the defender has featured in every game of the Toffees' 2011 inaugural FA Women's Super League campaign.
