Everton beat a number of clubs to the signing of precocious talent Gabby George when she agreed to sign senior terms with the Blue Girls ahead of the 2014 FAWSL season.
Previously of Manchester United's Centre of Excellent, she was immediately added to Andy Spence's first team squad and made her league debut in April 2014 against Notts County.
George made a further 14 appearances despite being just 17 years of age, including in the FA Women's Cup final agianst Arsenal.
Under the tutelage of Lindsay Johnson, George continued to flourish and was named the 2015 North West Rising Star. The arrival of Georgia Brougham in 2016 saw the pair become the first choice central defensive pairing, with the duo as close off the pitch as they are on it.
George was an ever-present during the 2017 Spring Series as the Blue Girls lifted the trophy.
