David Henen joined Everton on a season-long loan from Olympiakos in September 2014 - before sealing a permanent switch to Goodison Park at the beginning of the next campaign.

A tricky forward, the Belgian youth international had previously risen through the ranks with homeland club Anderlecht.

Prior to moving to Goodison Park, Henen spent the 2013/14 season on loan in France with Monaco ‘B’ and then shone during the following 12 months, becoming a key member of David Unsworth's development squad.

Henen, who has represented his country at Under-15, Under-16, Under-17 and Under-18 level, spent seven months on loan at Fleetwood Town in 2015/16.

He was part of the triumphant Under-23s squad that lifted the Premier League 2 title in 2016/17. Henen made 15 Premier League 2 appearances last season, scoring four goals.

Henen left Everton in June 2018 after his contract expired.
