Stats

Daniel Amokachi signed for Everton in 1994, moving from Belgium side FC Bruges, and would soon write himself into Goodison folklore.

The Nigerian played a big part in the Blues’ successful FA Cup run in 1995, scoring two goals in the 4-1 semi-final win over Tottenham Hotspur after famously substituting himself onto the pitch, having actually only been ordered to warm up by manager Joe Royle!

In total, the forward made 42 appearances for the Club, scoring 14 goals, before leaving Merseyside for Turkish side Besiktas in 1996.
