Icelandic midfielder Bjarni Vidarsson rose through the Everton ranks before scoring his first professional goal while on loan at Bournemouth in 2007.

His Toffees debut came against AZ Alkmaar in December of the same year when he came on as a second-half substitute.

Vidarsson later joined Dutch club FC Twente on loan in January 2008 and made the move permanent the same summer when the Blues decided against renewing his contract.

After spells in Belgium with Roeselare and Mechelen, the Goodison graduate joined Danish side Silkeborg IF in August 2012.
