Brendan Galloway moved to Goodison Park in August 2014 and signed a five-year deal.

An accomplished centre-half who can also play as a left-back, the then 18-year-old arrived having made 17 senior appearances for MK Dons.

Indeed, the Zimbabwe-born starlet, full name Brendan Joel Zibusiso Galloway, became the League One club's youngest ever first-team player in November 2011 when he made his debut against Nantwich Town aged just 15.

An England youth international, Galloway has represented his nation at Under-17, Under-18 and Under-19 level and is regarded a bright prospect for both club and country.

During 2014/15, he was a regular for David Unsworth's Everton Under-21s side, before being handed a first-team debut away at West Ham United in the penultimate game of the Barclays Premier League campaign.

He then made his home debut against Tottenham Hotspur in the final game of the 2014/15 season.

An injury to Leighton Baines presented more first-team opportunities at the outset of 2015/16.

He was selected 19 times during the course of the campaign, although he did spend a couple of the months sidelined with a knee problem.

His eye-catching performances saw him rewarded with an improved four-and-a-half year contract in December 2015.

Galloway spent the 2016/17 season on loan at West Bromwich Albion, but made only five appearances in all competitions for the Baggies.

For the 2017/18 camapign, the defender joined Championship side Sunderland on a season-long loan deal.
