Originally from Portsmouth, Brooke joined Everton from Chelsea at the start of the 2009/10 campaign.
The talented midfielder impressed enough to earn a call-up to the England Under-23 squad for the Four Nation Tournament in spring 2010.
Brooke featured heavily in Everton's 2010/11 UEFA Women's Champions league campaign and scored a memorable hat-trick in the Blues' 7-1 rout over MTK Hungaria in the round of 32.
She also netted a brace in their last-16 first leg clash with Danish side Brondby IF a month later.
Since the creation of the Women's Super League, Brooke has featured in a variety of positions including midfield, defence and on the flanks, but looked to settle in a holding midfield role in 2014.
