Antonee Robinson joined Everton’s Academy at the age of 11.

The athletic left-back, nicknamed 'Jedi' at USM Finch Farm, became a first-year scholar in the summer of 2013, but found himself on the sidelines through injury for the Under-18s’ title run-in.

He bounced back the following campaign to make a handful of appearances for David Unsworth's Under-21s side and signed his first pro deal in July 2015.

In May, he picked up the Under-18s Players' Player of the Season honour at the annual Academy Awards.

After suffering a knee injury - which kept him out of almost the entire 2015/16 campaign - Robinson worked his way back to full fitness and played an integral part in the Under-23s' Premier League 2 title triumph in 2016/17.

He joined Championship side Bolton Wanderers on loan until January 2018, impressing to the extent the loan was extended until the end of the 2017/18 campaign.

His form was also rewarded with a first full international call-up for the USA, where was an unused substitute in the Americans' 1-0 win over Paraguay.

Upon returning to Bolton, he helped the club secure Championship survival. The Whites achieved this in dramatic fashion on the final day of the season - coming from 2-1 down against Nottingham Forest, and with just five minutes remaining, to triumph 3-2 at the Macron Stadium.

Robinson finished the season having made 34 appearances for Wanderers. He then made his international debut for the USA - the nation of his father's birth - in May 2018 when he played the full 90 minutes against Bolivia.

Contracted until: June 2019
