Forward

Nick Chadwick
  • Born: 26/10/1982
  • Birthplace: Market Drayton
  • Nationality: English
  • Apps/ Goals: 4 (17) / 6
  • Debut: 2001 (v Crystal Palace at Goodison)
  • Nick Chadwick progressed through the Academy system and into the first team squad at Everton.

An extremely hard-working striker with a fantastic eye for goal, Nick was a regular in Andy Holden's reserve side and was a member of the squad that won the FA Premier Reserve League in 2000/01.

Nick had scored freely for the Everton Under-19s side before doing likewise for the reserves and progression through the ranks was always inevitable.

He was first introduced to Evertonians when he was given a taste of the big time under Walter Smith in a Worthington Cup tie against Crystal Palace at Goodison in September 2001.

He really made his mark on the first-team scene after being handed a chance by David Moyes at the back end of the 2001/02 campaign.

The Stoke-born striker scored in three consecutive appearances at Goodison but then struggled with hernia problems that eventually forced him to undergo surgery in January 2003.

After impressive loan spells at Derby County and Millwall, then-Plymouth Argyle boss Bobby Williamson splashed out £250,000 for Chadwick in February 2005.

The striker left Home Park three years later, moving on to Hereford United, Shrewsbury Town, Chester City, Barrow and Stockport County but is now back with the Devon club having signed up for a second time in November 2011.
