Kevin Kilbane signed for Everton in a £1 million deal from Sunderland on 1 September 2003, beating the deadline by just two minutes.
Kevin started his career at Preston North End, making more than 50 appearances before moving to West Brom for £1.25 million in May 1997. He then joined Sunderland in a £2.5 million deal in December 1999.
His first season with Everton earned him the nickname 'Zinedine Kilbane'.
Kevin made over 100 appearances for the Blues but was sold to Wigan Athletic for £2 million in August 2006.
He spent three years with the Latics before completing a move to Hull City.
In November 2009, Kilbane earned his 100th Republic of Ireland cap in a game against Montenegro.
He has since retired from football and become a pundit.
