Jill Scott

Midfielder

Jill Scott
  • Born: 02/02/1987
  • Nationality: English
  • Jill joined Everton from Sunderland in the summer of 2006.

Her debut season for the Blues was sensational, scoring on her first appearance for Everton. Plenty of goals followed, notably two hat-tricks, one of which was against the Black Cats.

Since her arrival, Scott has given the Everton midfield a new dimension with her quick thinking and relentless running.

The goalscoring midfielder is one of the first names on Mo Marley’s team sheet and is an integral member of Hope Powell's England squad. Jill also scored at the World Cup in China.

Scott was crowned FA Players’ Player of the Year for 2007/08, capping a fine season both domestically and internationally.

The Sunderland born midfielder was part of the England squad that reached the quarter finals of the 2011 World Cup in Germany. Scott scored against both New Zealand and France and was named in the tournament's All Star team.

In October 2011 Scott marked a fine year individually by being named the women's international player of the year.
