Jake has been at Everton since the age of 11.
A left back, he was handed a first-team debut in the Europa League dead rubber against FC BATE Borisov in December 2009 and, aged just 16 years and 271 days, became the Blues' youngest ever player in Europe. Before that, Jake had signed scholarship forms with the Club in the summer of 2009, though by that time he'd already played for Everton's Under-18s and reserves, as well as for England Under-16s.
The Southport-born youngster scored in the FA Youth Cup at Goodison Park in 2008/09 and soon after signing on full-time at Everton was called-up to the England Under-17s squad.
He captained the Under-18s side to national title success in May 2011 and continued to push for regular inclusion in the reserve team.
Bidwell then joined Brentford on loan in November 2011 and spent the remainder of the campaign with the League One club.
The Bees took the full-back on loan once again at the start of the 2012/13 season, on an initial one-month deal.
Contracted until: June 2014.
