Conor McAleny
  • Born: 12/08/1992
  • Birthplace: Liverpool
  • Nationality: English
  • Debut: 10/12/2011 v Arsenal (A)
  • Conor McAleny joined Everton’s academy at just 11 and in the summer of 2008 was recruited as a full-time scholar.

The diminutive yet pacy striker has impressed as a forward in his years at the club.

He became part of the Under-18s squad in 2008/09, netting a number of important goals - a role which increased the following season.

McAleny was also handed a squad number in 2009/10 but didn't feature for the first team in that campaign.

With the Blues plagued by injuries in April 2011 McAleny was named as a subsitute in the 2-2 with Aston Villa at Goodison Park along with fellow academy graduates Adam Forshaw and Aristote Nsiala.

He appeared as an unused substitute on several further occasions and also helped Everton's Under-18s to national glory that season.

In June 2011 he signed a new one-year deal at the Club and six months later he made his senior debut with a late substitute appearance at Arsenal.

In the next game, McAleny made his first Goodison appearance by coming on for Louis Saha in the 1-1 draw against Norwich.

On 23 March 2012, he joined Scunthorpe United on loan for the remainder of the season.

    Contracted until: June 2014.
