Alex Greenwood joined Everton's Centre of Excellence at just 8 years old.

The Liverpool-born defender has progressed right through the Blues ranks, and made her senior debut in the 2010/11 UEFA Women's Champions League qualifying tournament in August 2010.

A full-back with a strong left-foot, Greenwood has represented England at under-15, under 17 and under-19 levels, making her under-19 debut against Maldova in September 2010.

She was most recently called-up to the Three Lions' under-19s side for their UEFA European Under-19s Championship Second Qualifying Round in Croatia in March 2011.
