Adam broke into the Under-18s team in 2008/09 after a lengthy injury absence.
It was his first campaign as a full-time scholar, having initially joined Everton’s Academy set-up when he was 14.
A commanding and confident stopper, Adam is also considered a competent leader.
He became the Under-18s' regular keeper in 2009/10 and also turned out for the reserves.
